DAY 1- YOUR FAVORITE SONG If I could go back in time to see any show, (within my lifetime) I would probably see Spring Awakening with Jonathan Groff and Lea Michelle from the original cast. I love all the music to this show, but my favorite song is “Mama Who Bore Me Reprise.” If you’ve ever seen this musical or watched the 2007 Tony’s, you know how much emotion is expressed and how you just can’t stop watching the performance. The harmonies in this song are beautifully written so that every part fits together, but at the same time when you listen to the different parts separately they don’t seem like they would sound good in one song. I just think this is a beautiful song for a great show, and that is why it is my favorite.
